Hi there! If you've reached this page then obviously you've come lookin' to find out a little about me. Well I'm Nan, short for Nancy, a Virgo so that describes me in a nutshell. Born in Sudbury ONTARIO, living now in 'La Belle Province', I'm a thirty something year old mother (no specifics please) raising two lovely children ages 15 and ten, the former a girl and the latter a hockey player. After twenty years of caring and nurturing, I'm back in training (school) majoring in Sociology at the University of Ottawa. As you can see in the photos, the outdoors are very rewarding for me as I enjoy hiking, cycling, camping, horseback riding and recently discovered hot air ballooning. I have somewhat of an extended family when it comes to pets starting with my baby Miko (my six year old German Shepherd) who's a little lonely now that Nanook (my Afghan-Shepherd) moved on to greener pastures in doggie heaven. We also have three cats each with their own personalities and to make matters worse, I have to make sure my son's mouse isn't their next meal.
